God’s promise that I am is His child, was the only thing that kept me going , but I came to a point were I was at the end of myself. Actually it was far beyond that and that at the age of 56. 

After 36 years doing what I did best, by career came to an end. A friend started up a new business and I was asked to join in, which I did. On the morning of my 1st day, it so happens that the other employees did not join us and it was only me. I tried my best for 2 years in and Industry I knew nothing of and in the end realized that I am going nowhere but down hill. The differences between us could not be resolved and I resigned. Due to the Industry I was in, I left within 24 hours. 

I was fortunate to start work elsewhere immediately, but due to the recession in the country my position was made redundant and I left.

My personality changed, I had no interest in my family, my friends and I had NO money. I was depressed and the only thing I enjoyed doing, was to cry. My previous employer introduced me to Stanley Beckett and we attended a 10 weeks Mastermind Course, which gave me a total different outlook on my personal life, business and the way the Universe works. I also attended a Goal Setting seminar presented by Stanley.

Through Stanley, I met Berdine Bronkhorst of Invisioncoaching. What a phenomenal woman!  I did not have any self confidence. I had no confidence to be woman, a mother, a wife, a friend. I cried from morning till night. I was terrified of life. I could see no future. I had suicidal thoughts.

Through Berdine, I learnt that I was worthy in God’s eyes, worthy as a mother, and the best wife my husband can have. She made me realize that God created me in a way only I can serve Him.

I will always remember her for: WHAT IF... and what OPENS UP...

What if I am the best wife / mother

What if I am a successful business woman;

What if I am a caring friend;

What if I am perfect;

What if I am good enough; 

What if I think positive about myself;

What if there is an effortless way, etc

She took me “places” I have never been, and what a journey.

I learnt how to live in awareness. Aware of my blessings, aware of what I want, of who I am, aware of what is happening to me, aware of all the changes, accepting it and above all, enjoy the journey!

I am proud to say that I am today, only 4 months later, the proud owner of my own Business. God put an ex-colleague on my path and we went into partnership. This could only happen due to my “changed” view point. Of me becoming a new person, one who was willing to take the 1st step out of the darkness, with Berdine holding my hand. She was there for me every step of the way, when I was discouraged, she believed in me. She sometimes had to drag me through the darkness and bitterness, and she did.

Berdine helped me to regain my sparkle. She helped me to grow from a scared, no-worth woman, (in my eyes) to the person God created to honour Him. I am now creating with God.

I will always appreciate her.

Berdine Bronkhorst has performed coaching as an external consultant, for Business Connexion since October 2007.  She has interacted with some of our more senior management and feedback has always been excellent.  She seems to have a special gift when it comes to difficult managers. Where these managers have walked out of coaching sessions with previous coaches, they have attended Berdine's sessions and have praised her coaching techniques. 
 
Managers are now requesting Berdine when coaching sessions are being scheduled and prefer to deal with her rather than the other coaches.  The feedback has been astonishing in that managers said they experienced a shift in their lives and have seen change happening due to the coaching.

It was the first time I heard about life coaching and didn’t know how relevant that was to me or my life, until my company gave me the opportunity to receive coaching sessions. I attended six coaching sessions with Berdine and that was the beginning of my life! 

I still do not believe I almost failed everything I have, my pride, my career and my life itself. Now I understand life differently and the way it should have been all along. We all have power to control our lives if we choose to.

Berdine you were amazing, when you coached me you become a friend, a sister, a mother and most importantly a good listener.  I owe you one.

To conclude I would like you to remember this “South Africa needs you, so as the whole world."

I was a colleague of  Berdine's and also one of her first client's. I am so very pleased to give an account of my coaching experience with Berdine . Berdine allowed me to share my feelings and fears without making me feel judged. Through the quesions that she asked me, I could work out answers that have kept me from really letting go of nasty past experiences and many incompletions.
 
 Seeing the transformation in her own life also inspired me to enroll and explore what conciousness coaching could do in my life.Berdine is not someone to mince words and her work ethic is very disciplened. Hi Berdine

May I take this opportunity to thank you for all you have done for me through our consciousness coaching sessions.  You have shown me that action is the only way to achieve anything.  I have learnt to set goals and to constantly reconfirm the goals and to be honest with myself and look within to any challenges that are standing in my way of achieving my desired result.  I have learnt to set goals outside my comfort zone and that is great in opening myself up to be creative and step into my power.

Berdine and I were student coaching partners in 2007 and my best and worst coaching session were with Berdine - she has taught me a lot and has helped me to grow as a person in my own right. 

The time that she was coaching me was the time I was going through a divorce and recovery from drugs.  She has played a big part in my overall recovery through her commitment, compassion and authenticity. Even now at times when I feel I am busy loosing myself – she will be there to ask the right questions and to remind me of who it is I am committed to being.

Berdine is an inspiration to any person, whether you are a coach or someone who just needs to get your life in order.  Her biggest asset, in my eyes, is that she lives what she coaches.
