Weight Wisdom Coaching
Weight Wisdom Coaching was developed by Berdine Bronkhorst and is based on her personal success story of effectively losing 36kg of weight in 7 months, her experience as a qualified Consciousness Coach® as well as the insights she had in the journey to her “Self”, all put together in a 10 week powerful coaching program, called Weight Wisdom Coaching.
Berdine’s vision is to revolutionize the weight loss industry by enabling people with weight problems to embrace the body they’re in, regardless of the shape or form before any attempt to change it. Unlike any other diets or weight loss programs, you will not be introduced to any eating program or exercise regime to temporarily fix the symptoms of your problems (losing excess weight) but you will work on getting to the root of the problem to start dealing with what is actually ‘eating’ you!
Berdine teaches and guides people to do the work on themselves, by creating a shift in consciousness and dealing with the main issues around their body, so that the person can connect again with themselves and the needs of the body which results in people taking more care of the body, stopping the addictions and self-abuse which will result in higher self esteem, self respect and self confidence. The body will then be free to ‘breath’ again and return to its most natural state where it is functioning optimal.
Through the coaching process you will be introduced to the following awareness tools and topics:
• The hidden energy locked up in your anger
• Goal weight – Are you moving away from it or towards it?
• The vehicle you use to create what you want will determine how fast you get there
• What you really think of your body

• Forgiveness
• The weight of the past does not have to show up on the scale - how to complete the past so you are free to create anew into the future

What, when and how
A coaching program consists of one coaching session per week. Each session usually lasts between for 40 - 60 minutes. These are preferably conducted over the phone or face to face. Phone coaching eliminates travel time and provides greater flexibility as the client can be coached wherever he is, even overseas.
The Weight Wisdom Coaching cycle consists of 10 sessions.

I have now gone through three coaching cycles with Berdine, the last one being completed a week ago. I had asked Berdine to practice her weight wisdom coaching on me (seeing that since the beginning of last year I had picked up 20kg).
What an eye opener her coaching was. I had meaningful insights and very important breakthroughs. Without me consciously realizing it I had started on the journey of looking after this body that I had abused and misused for a very long time.
In the 11 weeks that she was coaching me, I went for a full physical including blood test and apart from that I also went for the yearly tests that a woman is suppose to go for (which I had been putting off for a few years). I also visited the dentist for a clean up and a check up (another thing I would not do unless there was a problem).
I have even started excluding caffeine from my diet. I lost a few kg after the coaching, not as much as I hoped – seeing that I was not disciplined – What I did get though: self-respect, self-acceptance and trust in myself. Who is a person without those?
I have started listening to and respecting my body and I would not have been aware of how wonderful it is without the coaching that I had received from Berdine.
